We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Process Shift Supervisor to join our team in the Food Manufacturing industry. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about driving continuous improvement, championing safety, ensuring quality, and optimizing processes. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in a leadership role within the manufacturing sector, demonstrating strong technical and problem-solving skills.

This position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

As Process Shift Supervisor, you will have a wide range of responsibilities that include, but are not limited to:

1. Overseeing the daily operations of the manufacturing process on your assigned shift, ensuring that production targets are met within the specified quality parameters.

2. Leading a team of operators and technicians, providing guidance, support, and motivation to achieve operational excellence.

3. Implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency, product quality, and overall operational performance.

4. Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations, fostering a culture of safety within the team, and taking proactive steps to mitigate potential risks.

5. Collaborating with other departments to troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to the manufacturing process.

6. Participating in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs), process controls, and quality assurance measures.

7. Conducting performance reviews, identifying training needs, and facilitating professional development opportunities for team members.

Qualifications

To be considered for the role of Permanent Process Shift Supervisor, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within the manufacturing industry, preferably in a process-oriented environment.

2. Demonstrated expertise in continuous improvement methodologies, process optimization, and quality management systems.

3. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team to achieve operational goals.

4. Solid understanding of health and safety regulations within the manufacturing sector, with a proven track record in promoting a culture of safety.

5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving production issues.

6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other departments and stakeholders.

7. Relevant qualifications in a technical or engineering discipline would be highly advantageous.
