Service Technician

Location: Scottsbluff, NE

Schedule: Day shift, Monday to Friday

At Vistabeam, we are hands‑on problem‑solvers with a passion for technology and a commitment to customer satisfaction. We are looking for a dedicated Service Technician to join our team on the front lines, ensuring our customers have reliable, high‑speed internet regardless of conditions.

We provide comprehensive safety training and protective gear because while we are persistent for our customers, we are always safe.

This role is responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, repair, programming, and realigning of various types of electronic transmission equipment in all weather and work conditions.

• Equipment Installation: Installing and maintaining Internet equipment, including wireless radios, routers, fiber ONTs, network switches, and cabling while adhering to NEC low‑voltage standards.
• Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and programming both Vistabeam‑owned and customer‑owned electronic transmission equipment.
• Advanced Support: Serving as Tier 2 support for field network technicians.
• Special Projects: Collaborating with managers and the network team on special infrastructure projects as needed.
• Compliance: Consistently complying with CPNI (Customer Proprietary Network Information) rules to protect customer privacy.
• General Operations: Performing other business duties as assigned by supervisors, management, or engineering personnel.

• Physical Ability: Comfortable climbing A‑frame and extension ladders (up to two stories) and working at heights with rooftop access.
• Equipment Operation: Ability to safely operate a bucket truck when required.
• Safety Mindset: Prepared to work safely in all weather conditions and strictly comply with OSHA and company safety protocols.
• Technical Aptitude: A strong desire to learn IP networking and uphold high quality standards.
• Licensing: Possession of a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Pay Range: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour
