SBPS is seeking a qualified candidate for a Licensed Electrician. The District offers highly competitive wages and a well-rounded benefit package. This is a full-time, year-round position that is part of a skilled facilities and maintenance team. The ideal candidate is reliable, dependable, and thrives when working in a team atmosphere. Position will also require willingness to assist in other areas, depending on project needs.

All candidates must pass a pre-employment background screening.

Must be licensed in the state of Nebraska. Tasks include, but are not limited to:

• 30 480/277 volt main switch gear (400 amp and 1000 amp)
• 10 120/240 volt main switch gear (400 amp to 800 amp)
• 120/240 and 277 volt distribution and lighting panels
• Lighting equipment that includes fluorescent, LED lighting and all controls associated with indoor and outdoor lights
• IP addressable LED drivers, switches, as well as rapid start and programmed ballasts
• Boiler equipment, pumps, and all associated wiring and controls
• Fire alarm panels power, zone wiring and detection equipment, as well as the reporting circuitry
• Bell systems that include power, transmitting and receiving equipment
• Atomic clock systems that include transmitters, receivers, antennas, as well as clocks
• Intercom systems that include phone equipment, speakers, and associated wiring
• Commercial kitchen equipment including griddles, warmers, electric skillets, dishwashers, refrigeration equipment, convection ovens, microwaves, and associated controls and wiring
