Responsibilities:
This position administers life support care to sick and injured persons in pre-hospital setting, in accordance with statewide Treatment Protocols and EMS Medical Control Physicians, as authorized and directed by physician and/or paramedic.

• Mathematical Skills – Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
  • State of Alabama EMSP License as EMT
  • Healthcare Provider CPR Certification
  • EVOC – once employed/promoted must obtain and maintain
  • Valid and current driver’s license
• Education and Experience – High school diploma or general education degree (GED); undergraduate EMT certificate required.
