Restaurant General Manager

The General Manager is responsible for running a profitable restaurant, ensuring quality of service and customer satisfaction, and creating a positive work environment and dining experience for guests. This position will coach, mentor, and care for staff.

• Meet or exceed budgets while focusing cost of goods sold and EBITDA
• Manage all daily paperwork at the unit level including sales reports, red book information, shift inventories and other necessary paperwork to insure profitability
• Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation
• Complete monthly inspection using the Unit Inspection form
• Order all food and supplies needed to operate the unit on a daily basis
• Hire and discipline staff members
• Select and develop a staff member to assume duties when absent
• Hold monthly meetings with employees to discuss relevant information
• Establish a visible presence in the community to drive business and increase sales
• Enforce all brand standards, company policies and procedures
• Ensure that all new hire paperwork, timesheets, payroll data, disciplinary actions and personal data sheets are completed correctly and timely
• Train all levels of staff in proper operations of the unit for POS systems, back of house functions and front of house operations
• Notify the District Manager or Vice President of Operations of any hurdles to success

• High School Diploma or completion of a GED
• Ability to communicate effectively with all hourly associates
• Ability to cover all shifts during normal operation
• Previous restaurant experience required
• Current Serv Safe Certification
