Project Accountant - Construction

MUST HAVE CONSTRUCTION EXPERIENCE

FULLY IN OFFICE

We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Accountant to support our growing team. This role plays a key part in project financial management, AR oversight, and general accounting functions. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable partnering with project teams to ensure accurate, timely financial information.

• Set up and maintain projects
• Set up customers and manage all document tracking
• Oversee preliminary notices, Certificates of Insurance (COIs), tax certificates, and bonding
• Coordinate project kickoff and project closeout
• Manage indirect charges, job reviews, and job cost transfers
• Track open commitments, waivers, and required documentation

• Enter, review, and process invoices
• Partner with Project Managers to manage collections
• Apply cash receipts accurately and timely
• Track retention, lien waivers, and required backup
• Generate AR reports, expected payment forecasts, and collection updates

• Assist with reconciliations, purchase orders, and internal audit tasks
• Train new hires and field staff on processes and systems
• Participate in special internal and external projects as needed

• Experience in project accounting, construction accounting, or a similar role
• Familiarity with Foundation
  , Pro Novos
  , or Textura

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy

Pay Details: $27.00 to $29.00 per hour
