Senior Accountant

Vaco has partnered with an established global organization to hire a Senior Accountant in Scottsdale, Arizona! The Senior Accountant will play a key role in month-end close, reconciliations, audit support, and process improvement initiatives while working closely with accounting leadership

• Base salary of $90,000-$100,000, depending on experience.

• Support month-end close and financial reporting activities while meeting reporting deadlines.
• Prepare and record journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
• Analyze balance sheet activity and maintain account reconciliations.
• Assist with fixed asset accounting and other complex accounting transactions.
• Support internal and external audit requests and compliance initiatives.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to improve accounting processes and financial controls.
• Mentor junior accounting staff and contribute to team development.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. (Required)
• 4+ years of corporate accounting and/or public accounting experience. (Required)
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting. (Required)
• Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools. (Required)
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. (Required)
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment. (Required)
