Our Newest Opportunity:We’re looking for a collaborative and detail-oriented Account Manager to join our Employee Benefits team. This role supports a portfolio of mid-market clients, helping to deliver an exceptional client experience through proactive service, strong plan execution, and meaningful partnership with the lead Benefit Consultant. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):As an Account Manager, you’ll be a key member of the client service team, working closely with internal and external partners to ensure that day-to-day client needs are met with care and precision. Your responsibilities will include:
- Manage the day-to-day service needs of a defined block of mid-market clients, typically fully insured and ranging from 100 to 1,000 lives
- Partner with the lead Benefit Consultant to support renewal preparation, carrier/vendor coordination, and ongoing strategy execution
- Serve as the main point of contact for client questions, service requests, and issue resolution throughout the year
- Coordinate internal team resources to execute tasks related to plan design changes, compliance deliverables, open enrollment, and employee communication
- Track timelines, deliverables, and open items to ensure client commitments are met with efficiency and follow-through
- Learn and grow your understanding of alternative funding models (e.g., self-funding, level-funding) to prepare for future opportunities in more complex account support
- Support data gathering, benchmarking, reporting, and project management activities in partnership with internal analysts and engagement specialists
- Build trust-based client relationships through responsiveness, accuracy, and attention to detail

Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in employee benefits account management or group insurance (brokerage or carrier experience preferred)
- Strong grasp of fully insured benefit plans and general employee benefits administration
- Interest in learning about self-funded and alternative funding strategies
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Professional and proactive communication style — both written and verbal
- Team player who thrives in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment
- Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office products especially excel and PowerPoint, required
- Experience with database applications, a plus.
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferred
- Life & Health License (or ability to obtain within first 90 days)
The typical base pay range for this role nationwide is $85,000 to $95,000 per year.
Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company’s performance.
