Manager of Sentient Insights

Sentient Decision Science builds scientific technology that quantifies and provides more accurate predictions of the impact of human emotion on choice. Sentient Insights is seeking a Senior Insights Director to join our team of researchers, behavioral scientists and technologists in our Portsmouth, NH location.

Sentient Insights builds business insights products using the theories, techniques and technologies developed by Sentient Labs. These products are automated and answer recurrent business questions, bringing the benefits of behavioral science to business, at scale.

The Manager of Sentient Insights is a resource management and production role within the Sentient Insights team. Responsibilities of this position include managing external partners and/or participation in fulfillment at all phases of data operations. Managers work directly with Senior Managers and Directors and provide a critical contribution to data quality assurance and on-time delivery of Sentient Insights Platform of Products to customers.

• Manage external suppliers in the execution of Sentient Insights product orders

  a. Serve as key point of contact to manage outside resources for survey programming and other data services

  b. Provide all product inputs including screening questions, implicit exercises, and test stimuli (e.g. brand logos, video assets, packaging, product claims)

  c. Test study links to ensure complete accuracy of supplier programming and logic

  d. Participate in soft launch and complete quality assurance reviews for complete and accurate data with Senior Manager approval prior to full launch

  e . Access panel platforms to monitor and provide regular field status reporting on target audience representation, incidence, dropout rate and location, survey length, and quota fulfillment to Senior Managers

Manage and contribute to the data processing and report production requirements for Sentient Insights products

a. Confirm that all data is captured, cleaned, merged and clearly labeled into working datasets

b. Manage the creation of additional variables, the coding and recoding of response values, the application of weighting and the production of cross-tabulations as specified by product

c. Complete quality assurance on data files, tables and product outputs for accuracy, clarity, and completeness

d. Managethe transition of data from cross-tabulations and other analytic output into charts and graphics within the specified product report templates

Analyze Sentient Insights studies

a. Contribute to analyses of Sentient Insights product output to identify insights into consumer behavior

b. Create data visualization based on analysis that illustrate the core components of the story

c. Proof all reports for data accuracy, complete annotations (significance icons and footnotes), typography and clear data visualization
