At Goddard, kids aren’t the only ones learning and growing—you will too!

• 1–2 years of experience is awesome (but we’re open to training the right person!)
• Completed state-required pre-service training (or ready to get it done!)
• Loves building strong connections with kids, families, and teammates
• Stays cool and professional, even when things get a little hectic
• Can lift up to 50l bs (because sometimes little ones need extra help or snuggles!)
• Infant & Toddler teachers: able to safely lift babies in and out of cribs
• Must meet background check requirements

• Personal qualities:
  Energetic, positive, reliable, hardworking, caring, dependable and punctual
• Strong instructional and classroom management skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to young children, teachers and parents
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to keep children within sight and sound supervision at all times;
• The ability to change children’s diapers and/or assist in toileting (where necessary)
• Full & Part Time available

• 6 months experience in childcare, teaching or other related fields (desired)
• Degree in Early Childhood Development (desired)
• Current TB within the last 6 months
• CPR and First Aid certified
• Fingerprint Clearance card
