Job Summary

As an Experienced Orthodontic Assistant at Westrock Orthodontics, you will be a key player in transforming lives by creating confident smiles. You will assist the Orthodontist with patients to ensure the highest quality of care is provided, performing clinical and technical procedures in a supportive and collaborative environment.

• Assist the Orthodontist during exams and treatments, ensuring patient comfort and efficient procedures.
• Prepare operatories, sterilize equipment, and support clinical workflows to maximize efficiency.
• Perform orthodontic procedures such as placing/removing wires, coil springs, bands, and retainers under direct supervision.
• Conduct digital scans and assist in fabricating customized appliances and retainers.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, oral hygiene, and appliance care to ensure they are fully informed and confident.
• Record treatment notes accurately and collaborate with the team to deliver outstanding care throughout the patient’s journey.

• 2 years of orthodontic assisting experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with orthodontic appliances, procedures, and terminology.
• A patient-focused, team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills.
• Availability to work on Thursdays and Fridays is required.

• Position Type: Flexible Full-time or Part-time roles available.

• Salary: $18 - $22 per hour, based on experience.
