University Admissions Counselor – Traditional Ground Campus

Grand Canyon Education, Inc. is looking for a motivated University Admissions Counselor to oversee the Paradise Valley territory. Starting salary is $58,656 per year with a tenure‑based compensation plan.

As a University Admissions Counselor, You Will
  • Have a servant’s heart and host community events that build awareness of academic programs
  • Use various mediums—phone, email, text, Zoom—to provide exceptional counseling to prospective students and families
  • Connect with community college students, faculty, staff, and engage stakeholders while scheduling fairs, school visits, presentations, events, campus visits
  • Be the face of Grand Canyon University in your territory, promoting transformation and growth
  • Work independently as a work‑from‑home role with ambitious targets, guiding prospective campus students and families through the admissions process
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • No delinquent or default federal student loan; current payments on any rehabilitation program>
  • Excellent time management, organization, and ability to prioritize competing priorities while traveling
  • Clear communication and presentation skills in person, writing, phone; active listening
  • Self‑motivation, drive to succeed, ownership of student time
  • High emotional intelligence, empathy to coach diverse students and families
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, flexible schedule, willing to travel; clean driving record
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
