Senior Civil Project Manager​/Client Manager

SEH is currenting searching for a Senior Civil Project Manager / Development Client Manager to join our Civil team. Must be located in the Phoenix, AZ or Scottsdale, AZ area, or surrounding areas with ability to travel for client meetings as needed.

• Plan, develop, coordinate, and direct multiple projects for a variety of clients across numerous sectors and regions
• Understand market needs and trends to identify and act on opportunities to win work
• Maintain close relationships with clients throughout development and after completion
• Recruit, manage, mentor, and collaborate with staff to provide a positive team environment
• Maintain an understanding of regulatory programs, funding opportunities, design standards and procedures through continuing education and professional associations
• Represent SEH with local governments, municipalities and industry events
• Respond to RFQs; prepare project approaches, scopes and fees; present proposals to clients
• Interview for projects and select project teams
• Determine major project design decisions in conjunction with the client

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Registered Professional Engineer in Arizona
• Experience with design, construction and project management of development and municipal projects
• Experience in client management; demonstrated ability to develop new business opportunities and win project proposals

• Minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience
• Experience in industrial/commercial development
• Experience managing a staff of engineering professionals and mentoring junior staff
• Active membership with Civil Engineering societies; registered with NCEES; ability to license in New Mexico, Colorado or other states if needed

Base compensation is expected to be in the range of $115,000-$135,000 based on skill set and experience. See the full benefits package at SEH Hiring Journey.
