, you’ll be at the forefront of helping clients navigate evolving environmental requirements, ensuring their operations are safe, sustainable, and future-ready.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on multi‑media environmental compliance, including air quality, water/wastewater, stormwater, hazardous materials, and waste programs.
- Lead environmental assessments and audits, driving actionable improvements that reduce risk and enhance sustainability.
- Develop and implement compliance strategies and management systems that set industry benchmarks.
- Partner with ERM’s global network of experts to deliver innovative solutions for local and multinational clients.
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in environmental permitting, compliance audits, and regulatory coordination.
- Strong knowledge of Arizona Department of Environmental Quality requirements and applicable programs (CAA, RCRA, NPDES, CWA SPCC, EPCRA).
- Ability to manage multiple projects within scope, budget, and schedule while maintaining high‑quality standards.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work at customer sites.

Required:
This position requires a valid driver's license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to the nature of job duties, which include frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area. - This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.
- Experience in the mining industry and/or consulting in the western U.S.
- Familiarity with environmental management systems and process improvement initiatives.
- Provide expert guidance on compliance issues related to air quality, wastewater, stormwater, hazardous waste, and hazardous materials.
- Manage environmental permits and approvals; prepare detailed reports and client presentations.
- Lead environmental assessments and audits, ensuring adherence to ERM procedures and regulatory standards.
- Support business development through proposal writing and client engagement.
- Oversee plans, permits, and reports for hazardous waste, air quality, stormwater, EPCRA, NPDES, and wastewater programs.
- Execute project management tasks, including regulatory assessments, QA/QC evaluations, and documentation of best practices.
- Collaborate with ERM’s technology teams to provide specialized regulatory expertise.
