Position: Sr Adv Systems Eng 2 with Security Clearance

Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with customers, mission partners, and stakeholders to translate high-level requirements into robust ground system designs.

* Decompose end-to-end system requirements into architecture, design, interface definitions, and test cases.

* Work with software developers and test teams to ensure designs support mission objectives.

* Apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies using tools like CAMEO or Magic Draw.

* Support simulation and modeling activities, particularly using STK for aerospace applications.

* Contribute to the development of cloud-based microservice architectures for ground software systems

Qualifications:

* U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
* Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or related STEM field

* 8+ years of relevant experience, or Master's degree + 6 years of experience

* Department of Defense Secret clearance is required at time of hire

* Agile development experience preferred

* This position is on-site or hybrid/flexible at the Scottsdale facility, depending on team needs

Preferred Qualifications:

* Ground system design and/or mission scheduling

* Tracking mission architecture and design

* Satellite communications and ground-to-satellite communication

* Systems/software design for cloud environments

* Experience with:
* MBSE methodologies and tools (e.g., CAMEO, Magic Draw)

* Programming languages:
Java, Python, MATLAB (for modeling, prototyping, or analysis)

* Cloud computing technologies and system integration
