You will create resource- and cost-loaded schedules, perform critical path and risk analysis, and collaborate closely with engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams to keep projects on track from planning through completion. The position offers domestic travel to project sites, relocation assistance, and the opportunity to contribute to large-scale utility infrastructure within a well-established national organization.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage Linear Scheduling Method (LSM) and Critical Path Method (CPM) schedules for utility transmission, substation, and renewable energy projects.
  • Build and maintain resource-loaded and cost-loaded Primavera P6 schedules that align with approved baselines and overall project execution strategies.
  • Integrate schedule inputs from engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams to create cohesive and realistic project timelines.
  • Perform detailed critical path analysis to identify key activities, schedule drivers, and potential bottlenecks impacting project milestones.
  • Conduct what-if scenario analysis to evaluate alternative sequences, assess schedule impacts, and support informed decision-making for project teams.
  • Track productivity and progress against the schedule, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions where necessary.
  • Identify schedule risks and constraints, evaluate activity sequencing, and propose mitigation strategies to maintain or recover project timelines.
  • Produce earned value metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs), and cash flow reports to support project controls and executive-level reporting.
  • Support look-ahead planning and develop short-interval schedules to guide field execution and ensure alignment with overall project plans.
  • Maintain compliant schedule documentation in accordance with contract requirements and internal company standards.
  • Collaborate in a client-facing capacity, presenting schedules, updates, and analyses to stakeholders and addressing questions regarding schedule status and risk.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts in scheduling processes, tools, and reporting to enhance project delivery performance.
Essential Skills
  • At least 5 years of scheduling experience supporting utility transmission lines (T-Line) and substation projects.
  • Advanced expertise in Primavera P6, including development of cost-loaded and resource-loaded schedules.
  • Strong construction-focused scheduling with a comprehensive understanding of Critical Path Method (CPM).
  • Experience developing and managing Linear Scheduling Method (LSM) schedules for utility and infrastructure projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform critical path analysis, what-if scenarios, and productivity tracking within Primavera P6.
  • Experience planning and scheduling large-scale sitework and long-lead equipment for utility projects.
  • Familiarity with TILOS or similar linear scheduling tools for transmission and linear infrastructure projects.
  • Proven experience working in client-facing roles, including presenting schedules, progress, and risk analyses.
  • Utility construction experience with a focus on Transmission & Distribution (T&D) and substation EPC projects.
  • Ability to produce earned value metrics, KPIs, and cash flow reports to support project controls.
