As a Consultant, Air Quality, you will play a key role in supporting clients across the Technology, Media & Telecom (TMT), Manufacturing, Power, and other industrial sectors. Based in Scottsdale, AZ, you will work alongside a global network of technical experts to deliver air quality permitting, compliance, and environmental solutions that enable responsible growth and operational excellence.

In this role, you will support clients through complex permitting processes, compliance assessments, emissions evaluations, and environmental management initiatives. What Your Impact IsSupport clients in achieving and maintaining compliance with local, state, and federal air quality regulations.

Contribute to permitting, emissions inventory, and environmental compliance projects across multiple industries.

Partner with regulators, clients, ERM colleagues, and subcontractors to deliver high-quality technical solutions.

Assist organizations in implementing effective environmental compliance management systems and processes.

Support multidisciplinary environmental projects that address air quality, stormwater, hazardous waste, and broader compliance requirements.

Contribute to ERM's culture of technical excellence, collaboration, continuous learning, and safety.

What You'll Bring Required Bachelor  in Sciences or Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental, Civil Engineering) or related discipline.
2+ years of air quality and environmental compliance experience ideally in the manufacturing or technology industries.

Direct consulting or industry experience in the environmental field with working regulatory knowledge of local air districts and other local air districts, state and federal programs, and Title V.
Field experience conducting air compliance monitoring, assessments, and permitting evaluations.

Ability to read, understand, and apply environmental regulations and agency guidance documents.

Strong analytical and computational skills to solve technical problems and implement effective solutions.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments while maintaining clear communication with clients and colleagues.

Ability to multitask, maintain flexibility, travel, and work independently with minimal supervision.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing experience.

Strong self-management, organization, and time management skills.

Strong Microsoft Office skills, with advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced consulting environment while managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines, and traveling to client locations as needed.
