Senior Civil Engineering Project Manager – Land Development
Location:
Scottsdale, AZ
Salary: $120, 000–$155, 000 DOE

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineering Project Manager to lead land development and civil engineering projects in Scottsdale, AZ. This role involves overseeing project delivery, managing client relationships, mentoring engineering teams, and supporting departmental growth.
Key Responsibilities- Manage land development projects from planning and design through permitting and construction.
- Oversee grading, drainage, stormwater, roadway, utility, and site development projects.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, forecasting, and profitability.
- Review engineering plans, specifications, calculations, and technical reports.
- Serve as the primary client contact and coordinate with municipalities, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
- Lead and mentor engineers, designers, and technical staff.
- Support business development, proposals, and client relationship management.
- Ensure projects meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and deadlines.
- Minimum 10 years of civil engineering experience, primarily in land development.
- Proven experience managing civil engineering projects, budgets, and teams.
- Strong knowledge of site development, grading, drainage, stormwater, and utilities.
- Experience working with municipalities and permitting agencies.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
- Arizona PE license preferred.
- AutoCAD Civil 3D and Deltek Ajera experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and client management skills.
