- Assures guests the highest possible standard of service.
- Collects and verifies monetary bank; signs for it at the beginning of each shift.
- Verifies any Bingo paper and/or related merchandise; signs for it at the beginning of each shift.
- Accurately issues change.
- Counts money to verify amounts and issues receipts for funds received.
- Inventories issued cash assets and compares totals on the cash register with the amount of currency on hand to verify balances, or compares sales of items with cash to ensure cash balances.
- Assists the Bingo Caller in verification of potential winning cards.
- Operates machines such as computer terminal, point of sale system, adding machine, calculators, and electronic Bingo equipment.
- Promotes guest relations.
- Is responsible for maintaining up-to-date knowledge of Credit Card Compliance requirements commonly known as PCI (Payment Card Industry) Compliance by attending training provided by Casino Arizona, at least once a year or more if required by management; signature verification of course attendance will be required.
- Is responsible for following the PCI (Payment Card Industry) Compliance regulations to protect card holder data and adhere to the standards to protect guests’ private card information; includes, but is not limited to, observing and reporting inappropriate card handling activity of either customers or employees as defined by PCI.
- Is responsible for the enforcement of all applicable regulations, under the Code of Federal Regulations, Title 31, Chapter X, as it pertains to this position; includes, but is not limited to, observing and reporting suspicious activity of either customers or employees as defined in the Code of Federal Regulations.
- Is responsible for maintaining up-to-date knowledge of all applicable regulations under the Code of Federal Regulations, Title 31, Chapter X, by attending Title 31/Anti-Money Laundering training provided by Casino Arizona, at least once a year or more if required by management and outlined in the Title 31 Minimum Internal Controls.
High School diploma or GED required. Cash/money handling work experience preferred.
Computer SkillsBasic PC skills required.
Other Qualifications- Must have good basic math skills and cash handling experience.
- Must have strong documentation and organizational skills.
- Must be able to get along with co‑workers and work as a team across departments and levels of management.
- Must have an upbeat and friendly personality and present a well‑groomed appearance.
- Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays.
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for prolonged periods of time; walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
