Opportunity:
The Trading & Investment Operations Associate is the connective tissue of the investment team—owning daily workflows, advisor communications, and internal coordination. You’ll manage inquiries from advisors and internal stakeholders, ensure requests are routed and resolved efficiently, coordinate meetings and webinars, and maintain the operational rhythm of the trading desk. You’ll also assist with reporting, data quality, and cross‑team follow‑ups, helping maintain the precision and responsiveness that advisors expect from Amplify’s investment platform.
Advisor & Internal Coordination
- Serve as the first point of contact for advisor and RIA inquiries related to trading, models, allocations, and investment processes.
- Research, triage, and direct questions to the appropriate trader, strategist, or operations specialist.
- Track open requests, follow through on status updates, and ensure timely resolution.
- Coordinate advisor meetings, webinars, and investment briefings in partnership with the trading and marketing teams.
- Maintain shared communication logs, notes, and documentation to ensure consistent follow‑up and visibility.
- Support the day‑to‑day operational needs of the trading and investment team—trade logs, data reviews, and portfolio updates.
- Manage account setup workflows, custodian paperwork, and system configurations across multiple custodians (Pershing, Schwab, Goldman Sachs, Fidelity, Axos).
- Maintain team calendars, meeting schedules, and project timelines to ensure operational discipline and efficiency.
- Assist in the preparation of meeting materials, trade summaries, and reporting dashboards for internal and external use.
- Collaborate with client service, compliance, and technology teams to resolve operational issues.
- Partner with the marketing and relationship management teams to organize advisor communications and product webinars.
- Support the onboarding of new advisors, models, and third‑party managers onto Amplify’s TAMP and UMA platforms.
- Document and continuously improve internal workflows for communication, reporting, and follow‑up.
- Review daily data feeds and portfolio reports for completeness and accuracy.
- Generate recurring dashboards and reports that provide visibility into trading activity, advisor engagement, and service performance.
- Identify process gaps and coordinate with technology teams to automate manual steps and enhance advisor experience.
- Required - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field (MBA big plus).
- Not Required but big Plus - FINRA Series 7, 65 and/or 24.
- Not Required but big Plus - CFA, CIMA, CAIA
- 2+ years of experience in portfolio management, trading, or investment support within an RIA, TAMP, or asset management environment.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Detail‑oriented and proactive; thrives in a fast‑paced, accountable environment.
- Interest in financial markets and the desire to grow into a trading or strategy‑focused role.
- Familiarity with trading systems such as NetX
360, Bond Beacon, Bond Nav, Tamarac, Addepar, etc. - Experience with major custodians (e.g., Pershing, Schwab, Fidelity, Goldman Sachs, Axos).
- TAMP expertise in model delivery, rebalancing, and execution within UMA and multi‑manager frameworks.
- Familiarity with algorithmic execution, FIX/API integrations.
- Experience with fixed income (bonds) trading.
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to Scottsdale, AZ.
