ACCOUNTING MANAGER

Position OverviewThis role plays a critical leadership position within the Finance team, with primary responsibility for treasury operations and internal audit oversight. The Accounting Manager will safeguard the integrity of financial processes, optimize cash management across corporate and property operations, and strengthen internal controls. The ideal candidate is a strategic, solutions-oriented leader with strong analytical skills, deep financial systems expertise, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Key ResponsibilitiesTreasury & Cash Management
- Oversee daily cash management and cash forecasting for corporate operations and a multi-property portfolio
- Execute and monitor ACH and wire transfers
- Analyze cash distributions to ensure timely and accurate property-level disbursements
- Manage banking relationships and ensure compliance with agreements and policies
- Monitor and optimize working capital and cash flow across the portfolio
- Support investment strategies and enterprise risk management initiatives
- Lead treasury-related reporting, analytics, and dashboards
- Partner with the CFO and Controller on strategic financial initiatives and special projects
Audit & Internal Controls
- Develop, maintain, and execute internal and external audit programs and schedules
- Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors and ensure timely completion of audits
- Evaluate, design, and enhance internal control frameworks across departments
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and SOX requirements (if applicable)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred)
- 6+ years of progressive experience in accounting, treasury, audit, or controllership functions
- Strong knowledge of cash management, financial controls, and audit practices
- Experience working with multiple ERP systems and financial reporting tools
- Proven leadership ability with excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
