Controller, Finance & Banking, Accounting Manager

We are seeking a Controller to join our client’s U.S. headquarters located in Scottsdale. This is a great opportunity to be part of a dynamic and supportive team environment.

• Support senior accounting leadership in meeting the financial needs of the organization and its subsidiaries
• Lead and develop accounting team members
• Coordinate and direct the preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, and variance reporting
• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
• Manage annual audits and mid-year reviews
• Oversee regulatory reporting requirements
• Support month‑end and year‑end close processes
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and reporting
• Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal reporting and tax filing requirements
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to strengthen internal controls

• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• MBA preferred
• CPA preferred
• Prior experience in a Controller role
• Experience with multi‑entity consolidations
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and ability to research and document accounting issues
• Proven experience developing policies and procedures
• Leadership experience managing finance/accounting teams
• Proficiency in SAP S/4 HANA and Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment
• Strong understanding of internal control environments
