Job Description

Job Description Encore Medical Device Repair is seeking an experienced, hands-on Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the company’s financial strategy while playing a significant role in operational leadership, business performance, and organizational growth. The CFO will serve as a strategic partner to the President & COO and executive leadership team, providing financial insight and operational discipline to support Encore’s continued growth in medical device repair, device lifecycle management, robotic instrument remanufacturing, and related healthcare services.

A strong understanding of JD Edwards (JDE) is highly preferred, with responsibility for leveraging the ERP system to improve financial reporting, operational visibility, inventory management, costing, billing, and business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead Encore’s overall financial strategy, planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Provide the President, executive leadership team, and Board with timely, accurate financial information and actionable business insights.
• Develop and monitor financial KPIs, dashboards, and performance metrics.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, capital expenditures, and overall financial resources.
• Establish financial targets and accountability across departments.
• Identify opportunities to improve revenue, margins, profitability, and cash generation.
• Oversee accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll coordination, tax, audit, and financial controls.
• Ensure accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
• Develop financial models to support strategic growth initiatives, acquisitions, new service offerings, and capital investments.

• Partner closely with the President & COO to improve operational performance and profitability.
• Analyze the financial impact of repair volume, technician productivity, labor utilization, parts usage, inventory levels, turnaround time, and customer service performance.
• Develop operational metrics that connect revenue and profitability to technician and facility performance.
• Partner with Operations leadership to establish labor standards, productivity goals, capacity planning, and cost controls.
• Evaluate facility, equipment, staffing, and technology investments based on financial and operational return.
• Identify inefficiencies and implement processes that improve scalability and profitability.
• Support the development and implementation of standardized processes across repair labs, field operations, inventory, and customer service.
• Provide financial leadership for new products, services, markets, and strategic partnerships.

• Partner with Sales and Operations to establish appropriate pricing strategies.
• Analyze profitability by customer, service line, product category, repair type, and location.
• Develop contribution-margin reporting and identify areas for margin improvement.
• Evaluate contracts and major customer agreements from a financial and profitability perspective.
• Monitor billing accuracy, revenue recognition, collections, and customer profitability.
• Provide financial modeling for new customer opportunities and strategic accounts.

• Partner with the executive team to develop and execute Encore’s long-term growth strategy.
• Develop financial models and business cases for expansion opportunities.
• Support potential acquisitions, integrations, financing activities, and strategic transactions.
• Evaluate new business opportunities and service lines from both financial and operational perspectives.
• Establish scalable financial infrastructure appropriate for a growing healthcare services organization.
