Alliance Hospitality Group is seeking a Director of Private Events for its Arizona locations.

The Director of Private Events will lead the implementation and execution of Alliance Hospitality Group's on‑site food and beverage event operational standards, procedures and execution. They will partner with the California Private Events team and collaborate with restaurant, hotel, and Guest Service teams across Arizona to plan, organize, and manage private events and catering services. Responsibilities include coordinating with clients, managing logistics, ensuring excellent service delivery, and achieving financial goals.

• Maintain and build relationships with current and prospective clients.
• Respond to all inquiries within 24 hours and drive sales opportunities.
• Identify and pursue new revenue streams through creative marketing, cold and warm calls, and re‑booking strategies.
• Coordinate with clients to understand event needs, budgets, and preferences.
• Design tailored event and catering solutions, including menus, layouts, and timelines.
• Ensure accurate BEOs and oversee their execution by restaurant leadership.
• Manage vendor relations and coordinate service rentals.
• Collaborate with the Marketing Department to keep websites, photos, and event materials current.
• Follow up with clients after events for feedback and future opportunities.
• Track and approve all event expenses, ensuring timely financial reporting.
• Support new concept openings and refreshes with marketing and event planning initiatives.
• Act as a leader within the Private Events Department, training and motivating staff.
• Maintain high guest satisfaction and align with AHG standards.

• 3–5 years of catering sales experience, with 2–4 years in management, ideally in a restaurant or hotel.
• Bachelor's degree in business, hospitality, or related field.
• Proven financial acumen and revenue‑growth track record.
• Strong knowledge of food, wine, and beverage finance.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Slack, Google Suite; experience with Tripleseat & Open Table is a plus.
• Detail‑oriented, multi‑tasking, and self‑motivated.
• Ability to work extended or irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Positive attitude, punctuality, and strong time‑management skills.

• $75,000 – $80,000 base salary plus commission
