Summary
The Assistant Event Services Manager is responsible for managing banquet events at the resort, ensuring flawless execution and exceptional guest experiences. This role oversees event room setups, service delivery, and the maintenance of banquet spaces and equipment. In addition to operational duties, the Assistant Event Services Manager supports the department’s financial success by balancing expenses and monitoring labor controls. This position requires a high level of attention to detail to meet event requirements and create memorable experiences for guests, while also mentoring and training banquet team members to foster individual and departmental growth.
Qualifications- Minimum of two years’ experience in Food & Beverage/Banquet Management required
- Experience in hotel/convention industry required
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast‑paced environment
- Refined verbal communication skills
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk moderate distances
- Ability to lift, pull, and push a moderate weight
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Proficient in basic computer skills
