Contract Position

Pay Estimated: $30.28-$38.56/Hour

Contribute to a company at the forefront of mission‑critical systems and technologies in defense and security. This leader in global defense integrates advanced technology to deliver information and insights on the battlefield, offering roles that support security and technological superiority across multiple domains.

• Collaborate with customers, mission partners, and stakeholders to translate high‑level requirements into robust ground system designs
  .
• Decompose end‑to‑end system requirements into architecture, design, interface definitions, and test cases.
• Work with software developers and test teams to ensure designs support mission objectives.
• Apply Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies using tools like CAMEO or Magic Draw
  .
• Support simulation and modeling activities, particularly using STK for aerospace applications.
• Contribute to the development of cloud‑based microservice architectures for ground software systems.

• U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or related STEM field
• 8+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree + 6 years of experience
• Department of Defense Secret clearance is required at time of hire
• Agile development experience preferred
• This position is on‑site or hybrid/flexible at the Scottsdale facility, depending on team needs

• Ground system design and/or mission scheduling
• Tracking mission architecture and design
• Satellite communications and ground‑to‑satellite communication
• Systems/software design for cloud environments
• Experience with:
  • MBSE methodologies and tools (e.g., CAMEO, Magic Draw)
  • Programming languages
    :
    Java, Python, MATLAB (for modeling, prototyping, or analysis)
  • Cloud computing technologies and system integration
  • Simulation/modeling tools, especially STK
