Purpose Of Position

The Software Implementation Consultant is responsible to work with Computer Guidance clients recommending best-practices software utilization and software implementation, delivering application training and managing customer go-lives from project management, training, implementation, user guidance, data conversion to post-implementation support.

Areas Of Responsibility Include But Are Not Limited To

• Troubleshoot and research client software issues
• Recommend best-practice utilization of applications
• Develop training materials for application training and ERP go-live implementations
• Deliver application training workshops
• Support Quality Assurance team with software testing or workaround implementation
• Manage customer go-lives from project management, software installation, software implementation, training to post-implementation support

Education And Experience

• 3-5 years' experience as a project manager within a commercial or heavy construction environment
• Construction accounting experience is a plus
• Accounting or finance degree preferred
• Must have the desire to consult
• Must be willing to travel 75% of a time
• Must be a disciplined “self-starter” and operate without daily supervision
• Good organizational and planning skills
• Professional and confident appearance and presentation
• Experience in preparing union and certified payroll is beneficial
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
• Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook)
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
