We’re looking for a strategic, consultative Sales Executive to help expand our presence in the higher education market. This person will be responsible for uncovering university tech initiatives, identifying project needs, and pitching our custom solution services.

This role is fully onsite in our Scottsdale office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, research, and prospect higher education institutions with upcoming or ongoing tech initiatives, ranging from CRM architecture and marketing analytics to chatbots, AI pilots, and more
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders (CIOs, Directors of IT, department heads, procurement teams, etc.)
  • Lead thoughtful discovery conversations to understand challenges and propose value-driven solutions
  • Pitch One Origin’s services (dedicated development teams and custom tech solutions) based on client needs, with flexibility to support a wide range of institutional priorities and technical goals
  • Collaborate with delivery and technical teams to shape proposals that align with capacity and capability
  • Maintain accurate opportunity data in Salesforce and drive deals from discovery to close
  • Represent One Origin at virtual and in-person higher ed events or conferences as needed
Who You Are
  • 4+ years of experience in B2B sales, with a focus on selling solution services or technical consulting
  • Proven success in navigating complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholder s
  • Understanding of software development processes and technical project cycles
  • Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills
  • Familiarity with higher education and/or public sector sales cycles is a plus
  • Excellent communicator—able to convey complex ideas in a simple, engaging way
  • Self-starter with a track record of owning pipeline and delivering results
