• Overall Purpose Oversees one or more Salesforce engineering teams responsible for designing, developing, documenting, testing, deploying, and maintaining solutions on the Salesforce platform.
• Mentors and coaches team members, collaborates with other engineering managers and stakeholders, and ensures the quality, security, and performance of delivered Salesforce solutions.
• This is a Manager role managing 17 people doing code review and, when needed, will have to be hands‑on to include testing.
• Must have prior leadership experience doing this kind of role in their past.
• Needs to have coaching experience as well.
• Essential Functions Manage the full lifecycle of Salesforce development projects, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
• Lead the design and implementation of complex Salesforce solutions, using best practices and industry standards.
• Oversee code reviews, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of Salesforce applications.
• Ensure compliance with internally defined and industry‑standard security, governance, and performance guidelines.
• Provide technical guidance and feedback to team members, and foster a culture of inclusion, learning, and innovation.
• Collaborate with other engineering managers, product managers, business analysts, and end users to deliver high‑value solutions to our customers, consumers, and users.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in the Salesforce ecosystem and evaluate new tools and frameworks for future adoption.
• Supports the company’s commitment to risk management and protecting the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Salesforce development, with at least 2 years in a leadership or lead role.
• Experience in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, SOSL, and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Experience with Salesforce APIs, integration tools, and data migration.
• Experience with managed packages and other 3rd‑party Salesforce components.
• Experience with Salesforce development tools, such as VS Code, SFDX, Git, CI/CD, etc.
• Experience with Salesforce products and features, such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Community Cloud, Einstein Analytics, etc. One or more Salesforce certifications.
• Experience with agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving skills.

• Salesforce Platform Developer I certification.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools.
• UI/UX development experience based on Salesforce Experience Cloud.
