IT Support Specialist

At Exceptional Healthcare, we combine innovative technology with a commitment to providing the best possible outcomes to our patients. We're searching for an experienced and reliable IT Support Specialist to join our Scottsdale, AZ office. Our staff plays an integral role in fueling the care and healing that happens here.

The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for providing day-to-day support for five micro hospitals in the state of Arizona. Centrally stationed in the Scottsdale office, this position will report to the AZ VP of Operations and provide all front-line support for IT related issues in the market.

Job Responsibilities /Duties:
  • Point of contact for all internal support requests.
  • Prioritize requests based on importance to clinical operations.
  • Troubleshoot workstations. Printers, scanners, A/V, and some network devices.
  • Assist remote users/providers with laptop connectivity and access.
  • Assist users with credential resets, access and on/off boarding.
  • Manage support requests from the AZ locations (Eloy, Prescott, Maricopa, Yuma, and Bullhead City).
  • Document and polish processes and procedures.
  • Maintain inventory and lifecycle management.
  • Other duties as assigned by corporate IT Director.
  • Moderate overnight travel required
Qualifications &

Experience:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Degree with preferred but not required.
  • 2-3 years of prior experience in a healthcare support role.
  • Prior support experience with an EHR system.
  • Knowledge of ER / Hospital systems.
  • Experience managing multiple support requests from multiple locations.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong knowledge of M365 apps, Windows operating systems and cloud VOIP.
  • Advanced hardware knowledge for workstations, printers, copiers, scanners and other peripherals.
  • Knowledge of components in a network MDF.
Physical Demands:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Prolonged periods of standing, bending, and reaching.
  • Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times.
