Join our Amwins Brokerage team in Scottsdale, AZ as an Associate Broker for Property and Builders Risk!
This position is in-office.
None of our positions are commission based or involve cold calling.
Each Associate Broker provides vital team functions:
- Review submission information required to issue new or renewal quotes
- Analyze new and renewal submissions and provide market selection
- Determine coverage needs and develop proposals
- Review and handle inspection recommendations and discrepancies
- Develop relationships with our agency and underwriter partners
- Receive and respond to calls/requests concerning problems, delays, discrepancies, etc. and provide resolution so that all parties are satisfied
- Supervise or delegate endorsement requests, signed applications, forms, underwriting information, tasks, and certificates of insurance to carriers
- Monitor various reports for consistency
- May oversee the team's Technical staff and assist in training
- May develop some own sources of business
- 2-5 years of insurance experience
- Wholesale insurance experience preferred
- Familiarity with quoting shared and layered insurance programs
- General understanding of earthquake and flood insurance
- Ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels, internally and externally
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset
- Strong organizational skills and a willingness to take on challenges
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Compensation includes a salary commensurate with experience
