Job Summary

We are looking for our Supply Chain Manager to lead and supervise the procurement and inventory teams, ensuring the efficient sourcing of raw materials, timely manufacturing, and accurate inventory management. This role is responsible for developing supply chain strategies, optimizing processes, and maintaining compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001/13485, FDA). The manager collaborates cross-functionally to meet business objectives, drive cost savings, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies to maximize efficiency, reduce costs, and improve performance across procurement and inventory for prototypes, FAIs, pilots, and production runs.
  • Build and maintain supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with terms and quality standards. Conduct supplier onboarding.
  • Create and sustain supplier report cards to effectively manage performance metrics.
  • Partner with current and prospective suppliers to determine supply capabilities and delivery methods; negotiate prices and delivery terms.
  • Track, audit, and ensure adequate supply of inventory based on demand. Oversee inventory transactions, reconciliation, and compliance activities. Optimize inventory management processes to control inventory volumes.
  • Assess supply chain risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, import/export regulations, and industry standards (ISO 9001/13485). Maintain accurate documentation and records.
  • Work closely with Quality Management on audits and assessments of new and existing approved suppliers.
  • Work closely with Product Management and Hardware Engineering on sourcing for new products and on EOL planning for current products.
  • Work closely with Production and Shipping on component availability and fulfillment timelines.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on supply chain performance, KPIs, and operational gaps.
  • Lead, train, and mentor supply chain staff; conduct training and resolve issues to maximize cross functional collaboration.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field; or 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale inventories (1000+ components) using major ERP systems (Net Suite highly preferred).
  • Experience in ISO 13485 certified manufacturing environments.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
Skills & Competencies
  • Proficiency in ERP software (Net Suite highly preferred).
  • Experience negotiating contracts, terms and conditions, and long-term pricing agreements.
  • Experience identifying and pivoting direction when potential supply chain issues are identified before they interrupt production flow.
  • Flexibility in a growing manufacturing environment where customer requirements change.
  • Experience with import/export rules and regulations that allow sourcing from international markets.
  • Ability to train, coach, and develop direct reports.
  • Data analysis and performance metric interpretation.
  • Independent work ethic and ability to complete assignments within prescribed routines and standards.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
  • Ability to work at least 40 hours per week.
  • Ability to utilize keyboard, mouse, and computer for up to 8 hours per day.
