Supply Chain Associate

Job Description

• Assist in gathering order history and spend data
• Support identification of opportunities for leveraging existing suppliers
• Develop and maintain relationships with current and potential suppliers in the Supplier Portal
• Participate in cross-functional sourcing teams to evaluate potential & current suppliers
• Support execution of supplier KPIs and demonstrate continuous improvement
• Place purchase orders as needed
• Ensure timely delivery of goods/services by running open order reports and expediting backlog
• Assist in resolution of Accounts Payable and invoice/delivery issues
• Review and process claims against suppliers for unsatisfactory materials, delivery, or equipment
• Execute practices to ensure that optimum inventory levels are sustained while minimizing shortages and delays
• Respond to audits, surveys, or other informational requests from internal and external sources
• Ensure compliance with company and Supply Chain policies and procedures
• Support miscellaneous tasks required within O&M Procurement Team functions as needed

• 2 years in supply chain experience
• Comfortable with full cycle sourcing
• Research, picking up phone to call, and back and forth communication with site leads to understand requirements
• Comfortable in a primarily transactional sourcing role
• Intermediate excel skills – pivot tables, data scrubbing, pulling spend reports, etc.
• Goal and detail oriented Previous experience working in the solar industry
• SAP experience
