Overall PurposeThe Vice President, Product Management leads the vision, strategy, and execution across a portfolio of products aligned to a customer segment. The role will set the tone, performance, and culture for the product organization. Build, align, and motivate cross functional teams to develop a common understanding of the customer’s pain points and the passion to solve issues and develop innovative solutions that delight customers.
EssentialFunctions
Leadership: Builds internal and external coalitions and alignment on product strategy and execution. Builds and influences cross functional mission‑based teams aligned to solve customer problems. Directly influences executives and customer leadership with strong vision, strategy, and product execution.
Customer Partnership & Alignment: Passionately holds the team accountable for demonstrating a deep understanding of customer problems and pain points. Focuses on gaining insights into customer empathy to discover and solve unmet opportunities.
Lead a high performing team: Provides exceptional leadership in developing highly engaged, high performance team that is highly customer focused and market-oriented.
Driving Team Outcomes: Working closely across marketing, sales, analytics, design and development partners, drives strong go to market strategies to attain product revenue and client adoption targets. Holds teams accountable to internal financial targets customer net promoter and satisfaction goals.
Performance Focused: Incents and expects top performance. Develops team skills to work independently with a high sense of urgency. An active coach with the ability to make difficult talent decisions.
Thought Leadership: Possesses a deep understanding of the market, industry, and competitive environment, translating advantages to a winning position. A natural curious learner, able to challenge existing norms and motivate the team to achieve targets. An active participant in helping our customers develop solutions across all disciplines.

Education and/or experience typically obtained through completion of bachelor’s degree
15 or more years of related work experience
Demonstrated experience in design thinking and agile development process and methodology
Demonstrated leadership experience and cross functional collaboration experience including direct management experience
Proven experience in and passion for building and delivering great products
Experience in recruiting and developing direct talent
Demonstrated experience in setting a product strategy, roadmap and in meeting product revenue targets
Demonstrated experience driving alignment at the executive and client leadership level
Excellent listening and execution skills
Background and drug screen
Master’s degree
Certifications in design thinking and/or agile.
Prior experience working in payments, financial services or similar regulated industry.
People management experience.
