This position requires 2nd shift – 5:00 pm to 5:15 am, Sunday through Tuesday and every other Saturday. In this role, you will supervise employees in a manufacturing and assembly environment: plan and assign work, implement policies and procedures, and recommend improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Ensure effective employee relations. Provide coaching, development, and performance reviews.
- Administer hiring, termination, and disciplinary processes for production area personnel.
- Resolve employee issues through problem resolution.
- Ensure applicable training and compliance associated with work area and products.
- Responsible for shift personnel scheduling and assignments, verbal communications and visual checks of all work activity for the duration of each assignment shift, ensuring that quality requirements are being fulfilled.
- Provide feedback to proper departments regarding production, quality, engineering, and personnel issues.
- Direct and assist training of all production floor positions; topics include, but not limited to: SOPs, WIs, SPCs, and FDA regulations.
- Ensure work areas are kept clean, orderly, and safe. Make frequent safety inspections with follow‑through reporting and/or corrective actions, including work‑related injuries.
- Responsible for finalizing all necessary data required for a timely, shift‑to‑shift transition, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
- Implement all interactions, workflow, productivity levels, and quality standards with a "Customer Service" approach to both internal and external customers.
- Assist in the decision‑making process regarding cycle standards and process changes.
- Lead continuous process improvement efforts to reduce scrap, cycle times, improve efficiency, and eliminate waste within the production environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs.
- High School Diploma/GED Required
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Proficient with computer programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, etc.).
- Previous supervisory experience in manufacturing preferred.
- Effective problem solving and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient with computer programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, etc.).
- Knowledge of all relevant SOPs per Company policy for the position.
- Support and contribute in Lean Sigma programs and activities toward delivery of the set target.
- Compliance with the company’s safety policy and quality policy at all times.
- Health Services/First Aid Certification On Hire preferred.
- Health Services/Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) On Hire preferred.

- Occasionally required to work on different shifts.
