REQUIRED EXPERIENCEWhat you bring to the table:
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Intermediate knowledge of MRP/ERP principles
- Intermediate knowledge of concurrent engineering principles
- Intermediate knowledge of government compliance regulations
- Strong multi-task skills while maintaining focus on details
- Ability to prioritize program material needs with supply chain and internal shops as appropriate
- Understanding of engineering changes and their effect on the bill of material
- Ability to understand, research and reconcile financial errors
Our client, a large defense contractor, has an immediate opening for a Manufacturing Planning Specialist to work from their Scottsdale, AZ facility. As a Manufacturing Planning Specialist, you’ll create production and material plans to include inventory goals and schedules. You’ll oversee the master schedule and ensure compliance with material requirements for manufacturing and manage the procurement planning for a medium size.
You may also develop material cost strategies and coordinate target pricing with supply chain, while maintaining the forecast in the production and material planning tool and updating as required.
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

While an hourly range is posted for this position, an eventual hourly rate is determined by a comprehensive salary analysis which considers multiple factors including but not limited to: job-related knowledge, skills and qualifications, education and experience as compared to others in the organization doing substantially similar work, if applicable, and market and business considerations.
