Overview

Electro-Mechanical Assembler / Technician — Scottsdale, AZ — Contract Position — Pay Estimated: $21.75-$26.75/Hour. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors, geographic location, etc.

• Perform electro-mechanical assembly operations on hardware components including modules, circuit boards, panels, drawers, cables, and subassemblies.
• Follow detailed schematics, assembly drawings, and process documentation to complete production or prototype builds.
• Conduct wiring, hand soldering, and cable harnessing using advanced tools and techniques (J-STD-001 standards preferred).
• Execute moderately complex electrical and functional tests, troubleshoot issues, and perform rework or refurbishment of systems as needed.
• Accurately complete all process paperwork, update work order management systems, and ensure traceability of work.
• Use measuring and test equipment to verify quality and conformance to specifications.
• Build or integrate hardware prototypes, support pre-production or production environments, and assist in product readiness.

• U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 4+ years of relevant experience in electro-mechanical or electronics assembly.
• Ability to Obtain and Maintain a Secret Clearance.
• Experience working to J-STD-001 standards (space addendum preferred).
• Proficient in hand soldering, cable harnessing, and wire routing.
• Familiarity with multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other electronic test equipment.
• Solid computer skills, including ability to enter and track data in work order systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
• Must be able to work on-site; minimal travel required.
