Job Summary

Plan, direct, and supervise operations, production processes and personnel within the proprietary product value streams in Operations.subscription for shift rotations (4th shift Wed‑Fri, E/O Sat 5 pm‑5:15 am). Responsible for safety, adherence to procedures/quality, production, maintenance and schedules on assigned shifts; promote effective team and company relations to improve engagement, customer service and profits.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Supervise shift personnel in the manufacture of customer products, maintaining high safety and quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot shop‑floor problems related to Advanced Manufacturing operations, working with engineering support to meet quality and throughput goals.
  • Monitor orders, keep informed of manufacturing status, and initiate steps to adjust staffing and schedules as needed.
  • Promote site initiatives (safety programs, lean practices, training) and consistently apply all policies among plant team members.
  • Recommend and implement motivational measures to encourage continuous improvement.
  • Evaluate team performance, identify training needs, coach and counsel for performance, attendance and behavior.
  • Approve work time in the appropriate time‑keeping system and verify accuracy of hours worked.
  • Adjust direct labor to support demand and manage resources for on‑time production and delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with Safety regulations, OSHA, SOPs and cGMP.
  • Conduct visual inspections for safety hazards, housekeeping and organization; generate work orders when necessary.
  • Liaise with internal and external customers and departments as required.
  • Participate in special project teams and perform other duties as assigned.
  • DTO remain compliant with all laws, regulations, safety rules, policies, and work procedures.
  • Maintain reliable, punctual attendance.
  • Actively participate in the site‑wide Safety Committee and related projects.
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Work Experience
  • Equivalent technical or business experience required.
  • Minimum 5 years-imported 5 year(s) experience in a manufacturing environment with supervisory experience.
  • Experience with SAP systems preferred.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Working knowledge of repetitive high‑tech manufacturing – mechanical automated systems.
  • Knowledge of clean‑room manufacturing processes, workflows, production equipment and industrial techniques.
  • Effective problem‑solving and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills.
  • Proficiency with relevant computer programs and applications.
  • Commitment to the company’s safety and quality policies at all times.
License and Certifications
  • Health Services – First Aid certification upon hire preferred.
  • Health Services – Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification upon hire preferred.
Travel Requirements

Up to 13 business days per year (5%).

Physical Requirements

Medium‑exertion: occasional handling of up to 50 lb (22 kg); frequent handling of up to 20 lb (9 kg); constant handling of up to 10 lb (4 kg). Mobility required to move objects; regular use of hands and fingers for tools and controls; frequently stand, talk and hear for extended periods.

Additional Requirements
  • Manufacturing environment.
  • Occasional shift changes.
  • Must lift and/or move up to 35 lb.
  • Vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception and focus adjustment.
  • Ability to wear a clean‑room uniform, head and face guards, gloves, safety glasses, goggles, and safety shoes as required.
