Devereux Arizona’s Residential Treatment Center (RTC) provides intensive, 24-hour support for youth aged 7 to 17, who are experiencing serious emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges. In a structured, therapeutic environment, we combine clinical expertise with compassionate, trauma-informed care to help youth heal, grow and build a brighter future. The RTC features dormitories, an accredited K-12 school, food services, 24/7 on-site nursing, and specialized therapy and clinical services.
NurseSupervisor
As a Nurse Supervisor, you will provide nursing leadership within a highly acute behavioral health residential treatment setting. Job duties include:
Overseeing day-to-day nursing operations, staffing coordination, nursing practice oversight, regulatory readiness, medication management processes, and clinical support services for the inpatient residential treatment program
Providing direct supervision, coaching, mentorship, and operational support to nursing staff and collaborating closely with interdisciplinary leadership to ensure safe, effective, trauma-informed, and compliant behavioral health treatment services
Supporting nursing quality improvement activities, infection prevention efforts, staff development, adherence to organizational policies, nursing standards of practice, and regulatory requirements
Working in partnership with the Statewide Nurse Manager to support nursing operations, quality initiatives, accreditation readiness, workforce development, and implementation of statewide nursing standards and practices
Participating in nursing operational coverage and providing clinical and administrative support as needed to ensure continuity of care and safe staffing operations
Salary: $95,000 - $104,500
Full Time
Schedule:
Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm with additional coverage as needed (staff call outs)

Associate's Degree from an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred
Current valid RN license to practice in Arizona with no restrictions required
Two (2) years of full-time related experience
One (1) year related supervisory experience; one (1) year direct employee supervisory experience preferred
Experienced in child/adolescent psychiatric facility preferred
Experienced interacting with children of all ages in a supportive, professional manner and ensuring confidentiality
Ability to attend full time new hire orientation (paid)
Drug test within 24hrs of offer w/ negative results
Pre-employment Physical and Job Demand Assessment
Valid Arizona Driver's License & pass DMV 36-month history check
Current Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card with no restrictions (or eligibility to obtain with no restrictions).
