Veterinary Technician - Mid-shift

Blue Pearl Pet Hospital in Scottsdale, AZ is looking for a Veterinary Technician to join our team!

Position: Veterinary Technician with our ICU department.

Work Schedule
: 4pm to 2am Wednesday-Saturday

Pay Range APCA I-II $23.21 - $34.51/hour

Note: This pay band is dependent on local veterinary licensing, experience, and advancement through our competency assessment tool.

As a ICU/Critical Care Technician, you will:

• Triage and obtain patient history
• Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR
• Place IVC's and advanced catheters like Jugular catheters, Central Lines or PICC lines.
• Monitor and care for Ventilator Cases
• Work along side other skilled technicians and assistants in providing excellent, advanced medicine to your patients
• Have a passion for mentoring and training other co-workers.
• Feel gratification of nursing critically ill patients back to health and reunite them with their pet parents
