Veterinary Assistant / Client Service Representative Full-Time Animal Clinic Del Rancho Scottsdale, AZ Animal Clinic Del Rancho is looking for a dual Veterinary Assistant / Client Service Representative to join our team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community. This role is 50% Veterinary Assistant, 50% Client Service Representative. In this role, you'll play an important role in pets' lives by providing comprehensive care throughout their journey. Your life‑changing work will range from the hands‑on care of facilitating outpatient treatments and performing laboratory tests, to surgery assistance, to support services including admitting and discharging patients, answering and directing calls, and scheduling appointments and surgeries.

• Has a minimum of 2 years of clinical veterinary experience as either a CSR or Veterinary Assistant
• Approved Veterinary Assistants encouraged to apply!
• Prepare animals and instruments for surgery
• Provide surgical assistance and post‑operative care
• Assist in in‑room appointments
• Administer medications, and treatments prescribed by a veterinarian
• Possesses a positive work attitude
• Self‑motivated
• Excellent communication and organization skills
• Superior client service skills
• Is committed to a stress‑free environment for our patients
• Enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment

• Support veterinarians to ensure quality veterinary care, advocate for pets, and educate clients.
• Equally divide time between the front desk and treatment area.
• With each hospital function, assist veterinarians and the medical team to maximize productivity and maintain positive patient flow.
• Communicate with clients about individualized pet health concerns and offer guidance on Thrive Membership options, medications, and additional treatments.
• Assist in maintaining relevant, comprehensive medical records with the support of practice systems.
• Obtain relevant health history and information from clients and maintain medical charts.
• Use safe restraining techniques, follow standard protocols, and sustain clean, sterile, organized treatment areas, exam rooms, and labs.
• Be willing to guide, mentor, and support fellow team members.
