$15.15 per hour.
PurposeThe Dishwashers responsibility is to maintain the highest level of cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout their assigned area of responsibility.
Duties & Responsibilities- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards, meeting or exceeding federal, state, and local requirements.
- Set up, operate, and clean kitchen machinery/equipment properly and safely.
- Clean and sanitize food service, preparation ware, dish room, pot room, and kitchen areas.
- Scrape/ spray all ware before placing in washing machines.
- Rack china and glassware according to dish room standards.
- Ensure all ware is clean and sanitary before removal.
- Take out trash and sweep debris, keeping floors dry and spill‑free.
- Practice proper food handling procedures.
- Separate and store ware properly in designated areas.
- Perform preventive maintenance and cleaning of equipment to maintain quality.
- Assist with loading/unloading miscellaneous equipment, such as boxes, food, and beverage products.
- Maintain the workstation in a neat and orderly fashion.
- Move furniture as directed by management, including tables, chairs, and bar stools.
- Comply with all safety & health department procedures and state/federal liquor laws.
- Maintain company safety and sanitation standards.
- Ensure complete and proper check‑out procedures.
- Clean spills immediately and dispose of trash correctly.
- Inform management of any complaints, comments, or incidents.
- Ensure nightly/weekly and opening/closing duties are completed.
- Report equipment failures and safety hazards to management promptly.
- Assist with additional tasks as assigned.
- High School Diploma preferred.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Age 18 or older.
- Possession or ability to obtain required state work cards.
- Proper lifting techniques.
- Guest relations experience.
- Sanitation and safety knowledge.
- Experience with full service kitchen operations.
- Effective verbal and written communication in English.
- Work indoors and/or outdoors, exposed to hot/cold surfaces, steam, and wet floors.
- Work in varied noise, crowds, and smoke levels depending on guest volume.
- Fast‑paced, high‑volume, full‑service restaurant environment.
- Work varied shifts: days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Walk long periods of time.
- Stand for long periods of time.
- Use hands to handle, control, or feel objects.
- Repeat movements for long periods.
- Understand spoken speech.
- Speak clearly for effective communication.
- Push and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Reach with hands/arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
