Candle Concierge; Part time

We are looking for a bubbly + energetic Candle Concierge to join our Light + Bark Candle Co. team!

The Candle Concierge is our the face of Light + Bark, greeting customers and taking them through experiences at our storefront in Old Town Scottsdale. Their primary roles are to lead our candle-making experience in the Candle Bar, and help customers shop our L+B candle selection and other gifts and goodies. They will also occasionally help run our super fun private parties and off-site events, as needed.

This is a part-time
position for about 30 hours a week on these days:

• Wednesday 10:45 am - 6:15 pm
• Weekends and evenings as needed for parties + special events

Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

• Greet + interact with customers
• Teach our Candle Bar candle making experience
• Help customers shop our candles + other gifts
• Ring up customers using our POS
• Unpack and restock retail and Candle Bar supplies
• Maintain store aesthetic and cleanliness
• Prep and clean Candle Bar tables
• Assist management with special projects
• Work private parties, on-site and off-site events as needed (typically evenings 6pm-8pm, or on weekends)
