Position OverviewExact Sciences is committed to providing earlier, smarter answers to cancer detection and treatment guidance. As a Diagnostic Sales Representative, Early Cancer Detection (Screening Solutions Specialist or SSS), you will bring innovative cancer screening solutions—primarily the multi‑cancer early detection (MCED) blood test Cancel Guard
—to healthcare providers and patients. This field‑based role focuses on driving product growth of Cancel Guard (~75%) and Cologuard (~25%) across the Phoenix metropolitan area, including Scottsdale, Tempe, Mesa, Chandler, and surrounding cities.
- Generate deep insight into local healthcare ecosystems and market landscapes to identify opportunities for improved patient outcomes.
- Analyze the treatment journey across the local system of care to encontrado potential for enhanced clinical decision‑making.
- Build and maintain a network of relationships within accounts, capturing interaction data in the CRM.
- Synthesize data from formal and informal sources to understand the evolving local care system and prioritize account potential.
- Develop and implement business and account plans to increase visibility of Exact Sciences products and drive sales growth.
- Lead the execution of account plans, coordinating with internal stakeholders such as Screening Advocates, Medical Affairs, and Marketing.
- Inform, educate, and enable target physicians and stakeholder groups about Exact Sciences products and value propositions using approved clinical studies and marketing aids.
- Proactively pursue high‑potential customers, initiating connections to uncover unmet needs.
- Seek regular feedback from customers regarding service, satisfaction, and perceived value.
- Maintain high ethical and professional standards, upholdingagus policies and regulations.
- Demonstrate strong verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Support and comply with the company’s Quality Management System policies and procedures.
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance; work a designated schedule, including nights and weekends as needed.
- Require capability to work on mobile devices and perform typing for approximately 90% of a typical working day.
- Travel locally on a daily basis; occasional overnight travel may be required based on business needs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business Management, Marketing, Science, or a related field, or four years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- 2+ years of previous sales, inside sales, or account management experience; or 1+ year of sales experience plus 1+ year in a healthcare setting; alternatively, completion of active‑duty military service as a Junior Officer or above.
- Valid driver’s license with no suspended or revoked status.
- No more than two moving violations, events, or accidents within the last 36 months.
- No recent alcohol or drug event involving vehicle operation within the last 36 months.
- No other Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) results that expose the company to unacceptable liability.
- Ability to meet any healthcare facility requirements for access (e.g., vaccination, mask).
- Demonstrated ability to perform essential duties with or without accommodation.
