Job Description

As a Security Officer - Financial Patrol Monitor in Scottsdale, AZ
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will conduct regular patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while assisting with access control and responding to situations as they arise.

This is a driving post, where your contributions support a secure environment and reflect Allied Universal’s values of reliability, integrity, and teamwork.

What You'll Do
  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activities, security-related hazards, or unusual circumstances to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted behavior and offer assistance to employees, visitors, and guests as needed.
  • Follow all site-specific guidelines provided by Allied Universal and the client to support a secure environment within a financial institution setting.
  • Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation accurately and thoroughly.
Minimum Requirements
  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
