Acara Solution is looking for an Advanced Software Engineer for our client located in Scottsdale, AZ
.

• As a software engineer for the Space Force MUOS Program, you'll be a member of a cross‑functional team.
• We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team working on a real‑time embedded project.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for solving complex system problems by analyzing both code and UML models used for code generation.
• Develop and maintain software for real‑time embedded applications.
• Analyze and troubleshoot complex system issues.
• Work with UML models to support model‑based engineering.
• Collaborate with other engineers in a team‑oriented, Agile/Dev Ops environment.

• Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering or Science or Engineering or Mathematics.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on real‑time embedded systems.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in model‑based design.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software development tools and methodologies (Agile, Dev Ops).

• Master's Degree
• Agile experience.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++.
• Good understanding of UML.
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience with real‑time operating systems (RTOS).
• Familiarity with hardware interfaces and protocols.
• Knowledge of cellular telecommunications protocols and systems (UMTS).

• Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.

• Successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret DoD security clearance.
