Software Engineer
Make the world's most advanced SDA O&I / GMI even smarter by supporting the SDA team as a PWSA Enterprise Level Engineer. The Ground Management and Integration (GMI) program is part of the PWSA program. It continues the Ground Segment work underway on the Tranche 1 (T1) Operations and Integration (O&I) program.
Responsibilities- As a Software Engineer for the SDA GMI program, you will be an integral part of a cross-functional team developing and deploying state‑of‑the‑art ground operational systems. Your work will directly contribute to the success and innovation of the program.
- U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
- Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire.
- Requires a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field.
- 5+ years of job‑related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job‑related experience. Agile experience preferred.
- Programming and Scripting :
- Proficiency in Python and Java
- Strong understanding of API design, testing, development, and management
- Familiarity with Scaled Agile methodology and best practices
- Dev Ops and Continuous Integration :
- Knowledge of Dev Ops principles, including CI / CD pipelines, Git Ops, automation, configuration management, and infrastructure as code
- Experience with AWS (AWS Solutions Architect preferred), Azure is a plus
- Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Security Testing :
- Understanding of security best practices, risk, compliance, vulnerability management, encryption, PKI, incident response, auditing, and monitoring
- CI / CD and Development :
- Git Lab, Nexus Managed Artifacts, Ansible, Terragrunt, ArgoCD
- VS Code, Maven
- Cloud and Containerization :
- AWS : EKS, EC2, Lambda, S3, EBS / EFS, VPC, DNS, IAM, KMS, Cloud Watch, Cloud Trail
- Kubernetes, Docker
- Security Testing :
- ACAS / Grype vulnerability scanning, SIEM (Splunk), Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)
- Version Control and Collaboration :
- Git, Jira, Confluence
This position can be fully remote / telework, fully on‑site, or Hybrid. While on‑site, you will be a part of the SDA program located in Scottsdale, Arizona. Moseley Technical Services, Inc. is an AA / EEO / Veterans / Disabled Employer.
