The Mobile App Developer is responsible for taking ownership of our wealth‑management mobile application, transitioning the platform from a third‑party consultant implementation to an internally managed solution. S/he maintains and enhances the React Native mobile application built with Expo, integrates with Graph
QL APIs, and develops AI‑powered conversational interfaces using Lang Graph and Lang Chain. This position works independently to deliver new features, optimize performance, and maintain the technical infrastructure that supports our client‑facing wealth‑management platform, including AI agent capabilities for document access, financial calculations, account queries, and service requests.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance a React Native (Expo) mobile application
- Ensure reliable cross‑platform performance on iOS and Android through testing and platform‑specific adjustments
- Manage app‑store releases, including build preparation, submission to Apple App Store and Google Play, and release coordination
- Integrate and consume Graph
QL APIs (queries, mutations, and response handling) - Implement authentication, state management, and data synchronization with backend services
- Design and implement conversational AI agents using Lang Graph
- Integrate multiple LLM providers (OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Perplexity, Google Gemini)
- Develop and maintain FastAPI endpoints for agent interactions, streaming responses, and conversation management
- Communicate technical decisions, progress, and risks clearly to stakeholders
- Document code, architecture, and technical processes
- Collaborate with the Tech Team and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Skills
- Strong proficiency in Type Script, JavaScript, and Python
- Deep understanding of React Native and Expo for cross‑platform mobile development
- Solid knowledge of the mobile development lifecycle, including app‑store submission processes
- Experience implementing authentication and authorization (JWT, OAuth, secure token handling)
- Hands‑on experience working with APIs
- Understanding of AI/LLM frameworks, including Lang Graph, Lang Chain, and Pydantic AI
- Ability to design node‑based or workflow‑driven AI agent processing systems
Abilities
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
- Learn new technologies quickly and adapt to evolving requirements
- High attention to detail, especially in accuracy‑critical or regulated environments
Experience
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- 3+ years building and shipping mobile applications
- Experience with React and modern frontend/mobile frameworks (Next.js, Tailwind CSS, Native Wind)
- Experience with version control systems and collaborative development workflows (Bitbucket, Azure Dev Ops)
- 1+ year building AI agents or conversational interfaces using Lang Graph, Lang Chain, or similar frameworks
- Experience with relational databases (Postgre
SQL or similar)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Auth0 or similar identity providers
- Experience with cloud‑based CRM platforms (Creatio)
- Familiarity with financial services or wealth‑management domains
- Experience with Docker and containerization
- Experience testing AI agents, including mocking LLM responses (pytest)
Evening and weekend work required occasionally for releases.
Ideally we would like this person to be a Phoenix area resident and available to come into the corporate office 1‑2 days per week.
- $105,000 to $120,000 per year base salary depending on experience.
