Job Description & How to Apply Below

At Beyond Feedback we bring humanity back to business by partnering with business leaders to provide employee and customer lifecycle feedback programs. The customized feedback programs and actionable insights provided by our team of experts drive increased brand loyalty, customer retention, employee retention, and employee engagement for our business clients.

We have a new opportunity available for a full-time IT Systems Developer to join us in our mission of reaching 35M survey participants by 2035.

Do you write clean, tested code in the morning and fix a Salesforce hiccup or a stubborn laptop in the afternoon? Do you like building software people actually use and keeping the systems behind it running smoothly? When you spot a manual process, do you automate it before anyone asks? If shipping a solid feature and closing out a tidy ticket queue both make your day, keep reading.

What

You'll Do

This is a hybrid role, split evenly between full-stack software development and IT systems administration.

  • Build new features for the Beyond Feedback Experience (BFX) platform as working, tested software, working through the technical enhancement backlog in line with leadership's priorities.
  • Design, build, and maintain full-stack features, along with the backend services, APIs, and integrations that move data securely and reliably between BFX, our internal business systems, and third-party platforms.
  • Write production code using sound engineering practices, including code review, automated testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
  • Build workflows with solid error handling, logging, monitoring, and edge case management.
  • Migrate client dashboards and legacy reporting systems onto new platforms, keeping the user experience consistent from one platform phase to the next.
  • Fix defects quickly so our reporting and analytics stay reliable as new capabilities launch.
  • Act as the point person for IT support tickets, prioritizing and resolving requests and coordinating with vendors on the more complex issues.
  • Serve as our primary break/fix resource for Salesforce and other company systems, diagnosing and resolving issues as they come up.
  • Monitor our core business systems proactively to keep uptime, performance, and reliability where they need to be.
  • Write Python scripts that automate routine administration, provisioning, and system maintenance.
  • Handle hardware setup and configuration, and manage systems onboarding and offboarding by provisioning and de-provisioning access across the tools our team relies on.
  • Monitor and maintain the systems, controls, and processes that keep our data secure and audit-ready, supporting our SOC 2 compliance program.
  • Uphold Beyond Feedback's IT policies, keeping our team's day-to-day use of systems and data aligned with them.
  • Document systems, code, processes, and procedures so we're ready for continuity, growth, and audits.
What You Bring to the Table (Required Qualifications)
  • At least 3 years of software development experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in an IT help desk, IT support, or systems administration role.
  • Strong proficiency in Python for backend development, scripting, and automation.
  • Strong proficiency in Type Script for full-stack web development.
  • Demonstrated experience building and consuming APIs and integrating with third-party platforms.
  • Solid grasp of software design principles, including testing, code review, and maintainable code structure.
  • Working knowledge of Git, collaborative development workflows, and Agile, sprint-based environments.
  • Understanding of production vs. development environments and how to build and deploy reliable, maintainable code.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across a range of business systems and applications.
  • The ability to balance planned development work with incoming support requests, juggling multiple priorities with strong attention to detail.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working independently, with a proactive habit of spotting inefficiencies and building solutions without waiting to be asked.
Nice to Have (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience preparing for or supporting a SOC 2 or similar compliance audit, with an understanding of data security principles and practices.
What's In It for You (Comp & Benefits)
