Personal Trainer

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:

• Provide safe and effective programming based on individual client needs.
• Be on time, attentive and ready to train your clients to the best of your ability.
• Assist members with understanding how to use the equipment safely and properly.
• Provide outstanding customer service to ensure a very satisfying and rewarding experience.
• Work in conjunction with the Fitness Director to handle inquiries, requests, etc.
• Maintain a safe and hazard-free environment at all times.
• Respond to calls to assist in cases of emergency, injury or class setup/take down.
• Return weights and exercise equipment back to storage.
• Ensure cleanliness of all exercise equipment and associated workout areas.
• Interact efficiently and kindly with other departments.
• Receive and process requests as needed.
• Educate members on how to use all cardio and weight room machines/equipment.
• Personal Training.
• Fitness Assessments.
• Equipment Orientations.

• Are you currently certified by a nationally accredited organization?
• How many years of training experience do you have?
• What areas do you specialize or feel most comfortable training?
• Do you have a current CPR/AED and First Aid Certification?

WORKING CONDITIONS / LOCATION: Scottsdale, Arizona

SCHEDULE: As needed and required by the position.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / DEMANDS: Standing, walking, repetitive motions, bending, stretching, lifting objects over 40lbs.

EDUCATION / SPECIALIZED TRAINING: Certified Trainer Certification as well as CPR and First Aid certification.

SAFETY: MUST PRACTICE AND PROMOTE SAFETY AT ALL TIMES.
